Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
This zoo was pretty good, but it was alot of uphill and downhill since it was built on the side of a mountain. The last picture is the best.
Seven Falls
This is a neat waterfall with seven steps and is about two hundred feet tall. They light each step with colors at night, and even though you can't see it behind us, I just wanted everyone to see how photogenic Sarah is.
Cave Of The Winds
I think this was our favorite part of our Colorado trip. A stalactite and stalagmite cave carved by the wind. It was pretty awesome.
Manitou Cliff Dwellings
These were built into the side of a cliff almost a thousand years ago by the Anasazi. They were pretty neat, and Sarah had alot of fun.
Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods is another cool thing in Colorado Springs. If you look closely at the first picture, you can see the kissing camels on top. The last picture is of a balancing rock.
Pikes Peak Cog Rail
This train ride up Pikes Peak was alot of fun. Although at fourteen thousand feet, there was still several feet of snow. Maybe we should have worn pants instead of shorts. The climb goes from about 6500 ft. to over 14000 ft. which makes for alot of ear popping and some lightheadedness.
Cadet Chapel
On our trip to Colorado Springs this Memorial Day weekend, we visited the Air Force Academy, and here are a couple pics of the Chapel.
Eve 6
About a month ago we had the opportunity to meet the band Eve 6 at ISU. This has always been one of Dave's favorite bands, so he was pretty excited about it. To make it even better, they were actually nice guys.
